Inspired by Velazquez’s Las Meninas, Looking Glass explores how a line can divide space and direct movement across a square canvas. One continuous line loops back to connect with itself, its color shifting through 80 to 100 gradients, each applied in a single brushstroke. Against the deep blue ground, the line glows with the changing light of bioluminescent marine life.
