Introducing the Strada Collection - Original Oil Paintings from the International Challenge
I’m pleased to share a new series of small works created during the International Strada Challenge this past September, a month in which I completed one oil painting every day. Each piece was painted from life — scenes gathered from my gardens, the quiet structure of my property, and the shifting light that moves across familiar spaces.
Working daily brought me back into a more intimate, observational rhythm. It also set the stage for a natural transition into my recent studio explorations: constructed still lives made from paper twine, roping, and strips of colored paper. These small arrangements echo the movement and geometry of my line paintings, and they have become a bridge between the realism of these Strata works and the visual language of my larger abstract pieces.
Every painting in this collection is an original oil work, priced at $250. My hope is that each one carries the atmosphere of the place and the quiet attention that shaped them.
