Suspension is a compact study in color, line, and structure. The circular form shifts from deep blue to green as it moves around the panel, creating a clear figure–ground reversal where the foreground and negative space trade roles. This transition reflects my interest in how small changes in color can alter visual balance and the way we read space. A single diagonal line, built from subtle gradients, crosses the ring and establishes a steady directional pull. The painting is direct, small in scale, and grounded in the clarity of geometric relationships.
